Front is turn-based tactics made for a phone screen. Each battle hands you a fixed army, one objective and a limited number of turns: break through, hold, capture, eliminate or survive. It plays like a puzzle with tanks in it.

There are no dice. Before you attack, the game shows exactly what will happen, so a lost battle is a plan that did not work, not bad luck. Infantry, armour, artillery, aircraft, paratroopers, ships and submarines all counter one another across 14 kinds of terrain.

Pick one of 40 historical generals before each fight, march from Poland 1939 to the Ardennes 1944 with eight nations, and earn up to three stars per battle. Front is free on Google Play, works offline and shows no ads; 16 tougher Expert battles are an optional in-app purchase.
